Indiana Arts Education Summit

Service Description

The Indiana Music and Arts Education Summit will meet on November 17, 2025 from 1:00-6:00 PM at Butler University in the Krannert Room of Clowes Memorial Hall. Parking is available at the Sunset Ave Garage (4700 Sunset Ave, Indianapolis). The focus of this gathering will be on the development of job-based experiences through collaborations of Indiana high schools with Indiana arts businesses and non-profit organizations. These experiences can include internships, job shadowing, apprenticeship programs, and other collaborative experiences. This gathering is being held in conjunction with the Indy Arts Education Forum. Whether you have attended before or this is your first time, all those who are interested in seeing arts education thrive in Indiana are welcome. There will be two sessions for this meeting. 1:00-3:30 PM Workshop on developing collaborative job-based experiences 4:00-5:30 PM Discussion on collaborative opportunities and introduction of the Indiana Arts Education Network Our discussion will be framed by the Guide to Implementing Career-Based Learning Experiences developed by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
