Indianapolis, IN – September 11, 2025 – The Indiana Arts Education Network (IAEN) is excited to share that “Music Is Education”—a national initiative dedicated to empowering advocates for music education—is now live and available at www.musiciseducation.org.
Music Is Education provides educators, administrators, parents, and community members with research, advocacy tools, and messaging strategies to support music education for every child. This comprehensive resource hub helps stakeholders make the case for music programs in schools and advocate for equitable access to arts education at the local, state, and national levels.
“At IAEN, we believe that strong advocacy begins with strong information,” said Mike Kamphuis, President of the Indiana Arts Education Network (IAEN). “Music Is Education gives Indiana’s arts advocates a clear, actionable way to communicate the benefits of music education to decision-makers and the public.”
